Some things I forgot

1. Mom's foot looks amazingly good. Other than a small quarter inch piece of eschar at the lateral edge of the incision you can barely even see a scar. The surgeon did fine work (good on her) and Mom healed up (in no small part due to me making sure she followed orders to the letter). She said yesterday 'I walk better now than before' (yes because the nerveless toe isn't dragging). When she went into surgery she said 'I wanted to lose weight but I didn't think it would be this way.' Two days ago her best friend was here and she said 'what a way to lose weight.' Yeah I see why they're friends.

2. Kanda caught a mouse yesterday and he desperately wants more. My parentals always jokingly accuse me of bringing the mice for him because we rarely see mice here but we're in the country so field mice are a thing. a cute, disease carrying thing. Kanda loves mousing as fat as he is.

3. And seriously every time I fly things go sideways so good thoughts everyone.

And oh, fresh out of Comi-con two trailers. GAH I need faster internet so I can stream!!

I am so geeked about the Witcher! I've been looking for something to fill the GoT's shaped hole in my life (even though the ending sucked).

I had no idea Picard was in the works and the Trekkie in me is excited about this, too.
