My Brother is the Devil

cornerofmadnessHe's tempting me with a 6 y.o. blue-eyed Norwegian Forest Cat in the shelter he and my SiL volunteer at. He KNOWS I desperately want one.
But my apartment is too small and my job too uncertain. Sigh.
As for my job here's how it's going
Day One - you already saw
Day Two - The biology adjunct quit after one day
Day Three- Started okay then at 11 the power went out in some places. We THINK the construction crew severed something because ATT network is down, the internet is down, Rio's web page is down.
They let us go but here at the library I can't get into my email or Rio's web page so something is seriously wrong with the site.
Betting my online nursing students are panicking. WHY does this week suck so much.
And yes that means I'm behind on my beta reading because I can't get online except in various places for short amounts to time (Sorry,rahirah)
