I wish today were better

It wasn't bad just a little sad. We took one of our coworkers out for his birthday and he's one of the ones I'm saddest about at work. He was a student here, worked here his entire career and they cut him anyhow in SPITE of us needing an organic chemistry prof.(showing their complete lack of understanding on how this works and how it is just because you teach bio or chem that you don't know everything). So it was hanging over us, that this could be the last time we do this.

Then ELD called me when I got home which was nice. 10 minutes after that Katimac calls and I have to say I'm kinda glad the writers group meeting will be canceled this week because I'm swamped. But I'll miss seeing everyone.

I did find something I didn't know existed at the library, A retelling of Snow White by Neil Gaiman with Coleen Doran's art (I LOVE her art) called SNow, Glass, Apples

Going to try to go write something. My fandomtrumpshate story is for under 5K as per the bid. Opening scene, 2300....okay then

OH DEAR, I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm excited to hear there are words!! But for your sake I hope the story starts behaving at some point. :D

hahaha for me it takes 1000 words just to clear my throat. But in that 2300 words we've met the villain and gotten Fred/Gunn on the case (with cameos by two vampires and one overly amused offspring)
