OMG the house is on fire again

cornerofmadnessApparently the rubble flared back up because it was burning when I left for work this morning. It's almost too hysterical.
In other news I'm having a bad diabetes day. My sugar is nearly 400. Before anyone gets anxious, I'm dealing with it. If nothing else my medical degree is keeping me alive....
I've come to the conclusion my students are mermaids. That's the only thing I can think of to explain why a third of them told me on a test skin secrets mucous. They must be part fish. I've graded too much idiocy tonight.
In good news, I found that a local group (well Marietta local, i.e. 2 hours from here) is doing 2 full on paranormal investigations. One is blennerhasset island but that's 130$. I DO think I'm going to see if there are tickets left for a house in Marietta. That's 40 for time in the house 8-1AM and I will have to get a hotel because I'm not driving back 2 hours from this at 1 AM. I'm getting too old for that nonsense. I wish I had someone to go with but my local friends who can afford it, don't wanna and my friends who do wanna don't have the dollars.
