cornerofmadnessIt was my friend EB's birthday today so we all went to Arch and Eddies and I had the seafood angel hair (lobster, crab, shrimp and clams in a champagne cream sauce but no that's not my favorite thing but it was yummy).
No, on their ever rotating beer list was Goose Island's Bourbon County Stout. here's their website's description

That is so true. OMG it was like a smooth version of a boilermaker. You can't get this one to take home unfortunately from A&E's. My server was like another? Why yes I do BUT this is 15.5% alcohol and I have to drive so no (hell I'll be sitting here an hour or more just to drive home as is)
Since I went down the rabbit hole last night I didn't get to share fan recs for Thursday (and I didn't get one of these until today)

First Edition My own first Prodigal Son story which is oddly an AU (not my favorite thing). I have such mixed feelings about stuff like this. Two of my biggest stories (granted in an older fandom featuring a character most people didn't like) have less kudos in months/year online than this got in a day. Sigh.
New Beginnings Sort of a prequel to the new Picard series (or Picard gets a dog)
