Free Comic Book Day

I rarely get to go to comic book day but I was able to go to the Halloween version today. Honestly most of the comics aren't that exciting but free is free.
I did manage to get to Hillbilly Hotdogs this time and then down to the Inner Geek. I got my dumb free comics and I got my actual pull list. I'm not so sure of why it's so hard for these guys to get my pull list right but okay. They missed two episodes of Angel and Buffy (luckily they had them on the shelf) but DID give me all the Buffy variants. Um...I asked you not to do that because I am NOT buying them all. But since they're here, let me pick the coolest one. Couldn't decide between two of Buffy #8 so now I have two of them. Head desk.
One day I'll have time to read them all.
Hit the mall. Didn't find anything I wanted at Macy's but OMG WHY are plaid suits back? These look good on exactly no one. I did also go to tJ Maxx/Homegoods. I found a few things I wanted but it was like Black Friday judging by the length of the line. It was insane. So I didn't buy those things (I didn't want them bad enough to stand in that line).
I did buy some crap at Michael's. But OH GOD the Christmas stuff they had. So much of it was adorable. If I had time to do arrangements I would have bought it. I might still go back and get some stuff and make a wreath. I might have time for that. I still don't have the bangles I want to put Grandma's buttons on.
Dinner was tasty at Tortilla Factory. I hit booksamillion, got some manga and then I hear 'Hey Dr. Evans.' OH god, I'm 70 miles from home but it's still not far enough here. It was one of my former students who wanted to say hello. It was good to see her really.
Now to go finish my stupid spook_me story

Date: 2019-10-27 01:57 pm (UTC)I'm with you on the plaid suits.
I haven't been in Micheal's in a while; I'm almost afraid to go back. I'm not super crafty, but so much of it looks cute.
It was nice that she said hello.
