A nice pair of visits

cornerofmadnessYesterday my brother and his wife called me to go for lunch, giving me exactly 5 minutes to get ready because they love doing shit at the last minute. I went because a) I don't get to go out with them often b) I wanted to go to Drover's Inn anyhow. (check out the link, it's a cool place) for wings because omg they're good.
We called for reservations 15 minutes after they opened. Already sold out. On a Sunday. Yikes. We did go to the tavern which is basically a hand dug cellar. I'm content there. If the university goes under I swear that bartending in a dank cellar is my new job.
Extra crispy wings mmmm. Never got my beer but whatever.
Today my BFF from college and her daughter was here. It was a very nice visit. She got me a relaxation kit for Christmas (tea, candles, etc) They enjoyed all of mom's decorations which I haven't shared yet because I'm bad. Okay I'm trying to write and that's why
