I finished the draft of the Black Sails story with another 698 words.

Day 13 - 1321 words, a BtVS ficlet for fan_flashworks, which still needs editing and posting, a bit of editing on something I posted, and another 644 words on the WiP I was working on yesterday. Still not finished, I haven't managed to tear the boys away from the beach yet, but at least they're dressed now and getting ready to leave. That's progress.

There was little leisure for writing today, and in the end all I did was writing a lenghty story and end note each for my exchange story and edited it in (stories aren't revealed yet), ending up with 630 words for this. *g*

14th: Still working on the Thing. (I was supposed to be making it shorter, but instead it's grown 400 words. Oops!)

Not sure I can focus enough for actual writing today (life is still being ass, and in fact is worse now) but I did work a little on filing off the serial numbers of a fanfic I want to convert to original. Just changed some things about the main character's "voice" to suit the new setting more, since it's not quite modern, so wouldn't have certain expressions. Somehow that's easier to do, and I think it counts.

Day 13: 1,956 new words written today, but also a 1,003 word long scene on the cutting room floor, which has clearly been the right decision, because now I'm not feeling nearly so anxious and dissatisfied with the scenes that are left to write.
