Time to pimp - Kristi's Back to High School ficathon. For those of us who love vintage Buffy this is the stuff we live for.

Bookishwench's Feedbackathon What a perfect idea. You don't have to write a story. Instead you submit three stories you've already written and you get FEEDBACK on them. isn't that a novel idea. Yes, you will have to read 6 stories (the idea is all stories get read by two participants) so they'd like the stories to be reasonable in length. Still, feedback, go glory in that.

And a little quizzy- Mad Libby thing I got from Esmerelda.

1. Take five books off your bookshelf. [Or on your desk, for the lazy]
2. Book #1 -- first sentence
3. Book #2 -- last sentence on page fifty
4. Book #3 -- second sentence on page one hundred
5. Book #4 -- next to the last sentence on page one hundred fifty
6. Book #5 -- final sentence of the book
7. Make the five sentences into a paragraph

Do people who pray to bleeding statues give you the willies? Dana, got your emails (both) - thought I'd post here in case my replies to you went missing. LOL. I'm in the process of completing rearranging After the Farewell so I can use external CSS, and along with your stories, just got submissions of 7 more! LOL. I'm working on a new layout but going blank - can't think of design. It's gonna be a few days before I get everything up - but I need the distraction at the moment, so will be working on it.
PS Thought of doing this book thing, but the closest books to me here in my computer room are all dictionaries and coding books - so the sentences just wouldn't make any sense. LOL

Plus that feedbackathon is a fab idea! Only wish someone would do it for original fiction, cos I only have 2 Buffy pieces and neither are finished! LOL
