IWRY ficathon

I'm posting this a little early since the deadline is in the middle of my move and I might not have internet connected at that point. This was for the IWRY ficathon challenge from jadedcynic. The basic idea is what happened to the other characters during the day Angel had turned back. I wrote for

nwhepcat and it's Lindsey centric. It's all finished (imagine that) and I hope you enjoy. The challenge details are at the end of the story. It's Pg-13. Lindsey makes a life altering decision during the day that wasn't. Thanks to evil_little_dog for the beta and tosouthernbangel for the help with the legal stuff.

I left better feedback as a story review, but I loved this fic. It's very sad to think that this very well could have been the way things went (hence why I liked the idea of the ficathon-we have no idea what happened to the other characters, so anything was possible), and to think just how much Lindsey and Lilah both lost if that chance was taken away from them.

*mumbles something about Angel being a stupid, selfish bastard*

Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it. For all the butt kicking it gave me while writing it, I think it came out well, especially since Lindsey in canon was in turmoil about his job for two years

Finished mine, so now I can at last enjoy your heroic efforts. Thank you so much for the fic! I love Lindsey's history, so I'm always pleased to see it given play. And I so enjoyed you bringing Lilah's mother into the story, too. Both had what seemed like good reasons for damning themselves. I love the idea of them banding together to evade the Partners (and it would be such fun to see them on the run together like Tony Curtis and Sidney Poitier in The Defiant Ones).

And you got country music in there! (Strangely, so did I!)

Thanks. I'm so glad you liked the story. It was giving me a little trouble (mostly I had a challenge just like this except with Angel instead of Lilah last year and well no turning back the day so my brain was like how to do it differently?)

I love playing with Lindsey too and Lilah for that matter. We didn't learn much about their history but what we did learn was rather compelling.
