cornerofmadnessAnd it's another day that's a death by 1000 cuts. It's beyond annoying. My SiL/Brother got me wine-colored sheets for Christmas. This is the first time I've used them (as they are lighter weight sheets) within two days I'm like are they getting balls on the cloth already? Yes they were. Last night I see a 2 inch gash in the fitted one! I'm going to talk to my SiL this weekend just to see where she got them (might not want to shop there...)
Even more annoying, my new potential student only wanted to be with my school for gen eds because we don't have upper level biology. I'm like yeah we have all those classes you mentioned. I TEACH them. No one in recruiting is telling students this. OMG. She was embarrassed. I' m like no need for that. I thank you for telling me because this HAS to be fixed. I dropped that hornets nest right into the biology department.
I bought the Presence not Perfection t-shirt from To Write Love On Her Arms. What I didn't expect was to see this message from collar to tails on the inside and it is beautiful. I donated as well when I bought the first. It's a nice shirt.
Cleaned out the fridge. Someone explain to me why I have six, SIX things of sour cream of varying sizes and equal amounts of shredded bagged cheese of varying flavors. Send me your sour cream using recipes.
I made chicken enchiladas with poblano cream sauce ala Not Your Average Joe's via this recipe. Very tasty (and easy to make vegetarian) on the minus side, that cream sauce is gonna stop your heart.

(I love the ranch dip using Hidden Valley's packet mix.) How about a cake or cookies that use sour cream? (I can only think of a GF coffee cake off hand.)
