And I did okay. I also turned my hand to Filipino cooking and tried pancit bihon. For one, I like it, and secondly it's pretty easy. I made one minor error. I thought that one little bundle of glass noodles looked too small so I tossed in two...which was probably right for the recipe I was following. On the other hand, anyone want some pancit? SO much.

You know, thinking on some things on Twitter later, when someone says they aren't a giant fan of something, it's okay to say I disagree and move on. Forcing them to prove WHY they don't like it is probably going to just end badly.

I did get some TV watched today. I think I want to just get the superhero stuff off first and then move on. Flipping between too many shows isn't working for me. I have a couple other shows which are kinda boring so I might just delete them. Looking at you Baptiste.

How about some fan fic recs? Just one this week as I've not been reading much of literally anything.

Oh, so it wasn't something I f'd up forever so that LJ was blocking my IP address? That's a relief because I am not moving anytime soon, and my city has an exclusivity contract with my IP (which really sucks).

No from what I read, LJ is deeming crossposting as security risk so it's them being stupid (or over precautious which isn't a bad thing but their unwillingness to work with others is)

Yeah, I think it's more likely their unwillingness to let a fan-run business play in their sandbox because they know it was started as a direct result to the great amnesty. It's been coming down the pike for a while. JMHO.

I think they were overtaken by a new corporation a few years ago, and the asshattery has increased again since then. Corporations rarely think of the little people--even during world crises--sometimes especially during world crises.

I just got an Interwebs-capable computer before this whole quarantine started, so I thought I was all set to occupy myself with making/sharing fan art and writing original/fan fiction. LJ has made the fan part of that very difficult--especially the 2 fic challenges with which I just enrolled.

Part poetry; Welsh and English, part sounds of the natural world. It doesn't say UK only so you should be able to listen for the next four, or five days.

Sending this to a couple of other people who have it a lot worse than I do right now.
