Keeping Busy

cornerofmadnessIt's one way I can keep myself sane when everything is going mad. It's gotten to the point I don't want to look at the news or most of social media.
I ran out early to get groceries (so much fruit. SO much fruit). I went to Big Lots to get the big pruning shears b ut they no longer sell anything for the garden but statuary and hoses. I'll have to go to Wal-Mart and I don't want to go there until I have my watch battery number since i need that for the scale. I'll have to go back which is fine.
I hit CVS for most of my meds (some are back ordered. these people never have my insulin around) and I took all three checks (I got one from my car insurance too) to the bank. I was going to get sonic's but the line was out onto the road. No one needs a hot dog that bad.
I made it back in time to see the person I wrote Brightwell pairing, Prodigal Son story 'livetweeting' her reactions in gifs (well to chapter one). You can read the story, Captivate, here. I just put up ch 2. I'll have it finished by the weekend. And you can see some of it right here. That hug is one of my favorite moments on the entire series. (and her gif comments made me laugh hard because that comment could go either way).
It's supposed to rain tomorrow so I did laundry today and put out a few fires at work
Nothing got cleaned and I really REALLY need to do some transplanting of these things (still not sure if they're zucchini or watermelons but I'm thinking the latter).
Havent' touched my novel in two weeks. Fanfic is easy. Original is so hard especially now with the world burning down
