Nothing is ever easy

Things that happened today:
1. I spend the morning in a Biology meeting for all of OH but it was just as I said, directed to classes I don't teach and I could have logged in to the last half hour of the 1 1/2 hours and got the group discussion (where most schools are doing as I suggested half in lab half online)

2. Found out the closest university to us, Ohio U is doing something even stupider than we are. They want to start online and then transition to face to face. That is SO stressful to profs and students. It's one to meet face to face and then flip online if we must but this? Shakes head. To be fair, my school has 1700 students or a little less. OU has 25-30K. It's a different beast. I am thinking by the end of Aug we'll be 100% online (at least then my recordings won't be wasted)

3. Admin asked are we really going to switch the labs because if we don't do it soon... Me and L race to the school and me with my broke=ass hand had to move my whole lab, nearly 4 hours of non-stop moving and I still have my specimens down there. We did NOT move the physics stuff as we realize a) there's SO much stuff, that it could be on hoarders b) we don't know what is useful and what needs disposed so we just shifted stuff to make room for mine.

So now I'm exhausted and crabby. I did however turn off the mike and the camera during the online meeting and wrote my little brains out.
