cornerofmadnessI made the mistake of opening my work email. After busting my ass to make a schedule for that Australian student he writes me back why are you sending me biology stuff? I'm sports medicine. I don't advise sports med. I spent HOURS working on this over two days. My secretary helped. I had four other professors brain storming on this. And he's not my advisee and he doesn't want my help. OMFG. (The coach messed up. He didn't realize who to send this student to.)
Then I got an email saying our IT guy for blackboard quit. Blackboard is how we do ANY online teaching from simply giving out notes to fully teaching there. Whimpers.
And then I got an email saying call my dean NOW. Because I need whatever fresh hell this will be. The other A&P prof had emergency surgery and I have to pick up her A&P classes for a month. I now have no break from 10-4 and lost my day off. I couldn't tell them no. I will at least get paid for this.
Mom and I went to Janowski's farmer's market and greenhouse where I've been going for at least 30 years back home. They have expanded their market hugely. I have rye salt sticks, asiago cheese bread, giant wheat bread, a quart of baby eggplants (what I need that for I have no idea) a quart of baby beets (ditto), smoked cheese, old fashioned sassafras candy, red bamboo honey and god knows what else. I can't be trusted.
