metaphorical ones, never was fond of the other type. I found out today that none of the new meds helped my breathing. I'm still at only 70%. That is very disheartening. They're trying me on more meds and if I don't feel better to just toss them. My ear he says is fine. I sayit hurts. Might be time to see an ENT.

And then I had a flu shot. It didn't hurt but omg NOW it does.


I'm very much over the entitled student shuffle. I've now had FOUR of them decide, coming to class is too much trouble and I need to give it all to them online. My response is no. You can listen to the prerecorded lectures and not come to class if you want but you have to come in for the exams and lab. This is a Face to face class. If that's too much, i'm sorry. And of course for every one of those is the other student going 'if this goes online, i quit.'

I want to not do this any more.

Between that and your other medical issues, you're having a really tough time right now. I'm impressed that you're getting writing done.

I'm so sorry to hear that the meds aren't working, and I hope there's a change in the right direction with more meds. Ditto with seeing someone for the ear thing--I hope you're able to get to the bottom of it.

My flu shot spot hurt like hell when I got it, but for once, it DIDN'T hurt the next day. WEIRD. (Usually, my arm is stiff and sore the day after the injection.)

As for the entitled student shuffle--preach it, sister. I'm in the choir going, "YES! SO MUCH YES!" *sighs* I really do worry for the future sometimes. I mean, there are good ones, of course, but so many of my students want to coast on what other people will do for them, including think. *sighs harder*
