Another fresh slice of hell

It started with a dream that absolutely pissed me off (don't you love how you can wake up irrationally angry over something someone did in a dream?) evil_little_dog made me furious. We had a chance to go on some adventure trip with Lou Diamond Phillips and his brother and I was so excited. It was a boat trip on a river and when I say boat, I mean like an intimate little canoe like thing. ELD was goofing around acting like she was a kid and she jumps in the boat and breaks it (sturdy boat) and really fucks up her knee and leg, with a couple of big gashes. Lou takes the rest of the tour on a spare boat and I have to haul ELD to the hospital but half way there she bails on going so I missed out on my tour from nothing. Was SO mad. So much so I woke up about 15 minutes before the alarm.

Thankfully I did because there's a knock on the door and I'm still in my nightgown. I know it HAS to be Frontier and I answer it anyhow. Sure enough out in the snow is a poor Frontier tech. You were SUPPOSED to be here yesterday. He said how when the order came in after noon? I said no worries I said the same thing. Then they had me down for the right thing. Long story short, he jury rigged something and I have phone again...


I barely make it to my endocrinology appt thanks to this and the 4 inches of snow on my CR-V. Nothing stuck to the roads or walkways though, too warm. My weight and blood sugar went right back up once I went back to work. Sigh. AND my allergist DID want to see me back. She was there looking at this going WHY didn't they make you an appt, after I told her that they told me he didn't want me back. I'm betting it was because I was the last appt of the day...assholes.

I stopped off at school, printed crap and a student called me there. What? I tell them email but okay whatever, got that handled. I need to do something for work so I can get extra pay. If you dont' hear me saying I did it by tomorrow slap me


My mammogram was a surreal experience because the tech would not shut up. I know all her diagnoses, that she hates her husband and has slept on the couch for 9 years, that she plays dungeons and dragons (and someone there fancies her) and when I said I've played D&D for years she had to show me her game persona and all the cool stuff she has....

And they put these little metal beads on tape over your nipples so we know it's a nipple and not a density and I'm pretty sure I pulled my nipples off when I took those off.

I do not know why techs feel the need to tell you their life story. It seems to be a thing.

she even described in total detail what wrap she made herself to lose weight and that's where it all started. She did not stop for breath once.

Thank goodness we don't have to use the tape here.

I KNOW, right? She never stopped working and talked a mile a minute. Also I have too much boob to squish really.

Same re boob. I hate getting a mammogram. (My s-i-l, who has the opposite problem, says it hurts then, too 'cause they have to find enough to squish.)

It doesn't bother me much but yeah I've heard that from small women
