A better day

I got mostly packed up. I'm still not keen on driving home but since I can make it with just one stop to pee, it should be okay. It's both the holiday and Mom's birthday and honestly I swear that both parents are just like we're old and we don't care any more so I want to keep them in as much as possible over the holiday. Eye roll.


Tomorrow is the only non-snowy day so I have to go then. I'm not too keep on how messy this place is. I jokingly/sort of seriously told a friend in Jan we should make it a competition, pick a day, pick a room and see how clean we can get it.

I've cleaned up the Buffy story so it'll get up in the next few days. So good news there.

I have the bean soup up in the freezer so I can transport it.


And I got money! The state was handing out money to compensate for all the insane amount of work to accommodate Covid. My school divvied up their portion and I'm looking at about 1,600$. I am thrilled. It's about time something went right.

I might sample a few scenes from a new planned story for Christmas. I hope if you read them you'll like them.
