I'm going home

cornerofmadnessthe stitches are out. The surgeon's nurse dug them out. DUG being the operative word (I could see which ones the surgeon stitched and which ones the resident did). My knee is ugly, swollen deformed. I cried.
the surgeon walks in and says LOOKS GREAT. I can't believe you're healing that well. At least he's excited. I still can't move the leg for another 2 weeks and then another 2 weeks at moving to 60 degrees and then I see him again.
So that means there isn't much PT can do with me. We all decided I can do these exercises at home as I can walk enough to get around in the house. Here's hoping that's not a mistake because I'm out of here on Saturday. I'm finally going home.
It's so hot here, just the act of walking to PT and back made it look like I stepped out of the shower. But without that heat I wouldn't have woken up early because they wrote down the wrong time to get me up in spite of me telling them it multiple times. On the other hand I'm so hot I'm ready to throw up. I just can't handle this. It's literally breathless and my fan is pushing air around so it like a dryer. wee.
