Finally I slept

It started like all the nights before it. I haven't mentioned the muscle spasms that have been going with this. Finally I rolled onto my side and something peaceful settled over me. I got back onto my back (as I can't do my sides with this brace) and I slept 3 hours, woke up and went back to sleep for another 3.

So I feel better today.

My brother and his wife were here all morning for Mother's Day. He's the PT. He said that my walking and strength are like day and night in just one week. It's so hard to see it when it's YOU but I believe him.

My cousin came out to see me. She and her new boyfriend are still here. I had to have a break. I can only sit in that lawn chair for a couple hours at a time. It was killing me to sit there.

And I'm still working on the grades. Nothing but problems. Sigh.

How lovely that you got some sleep at last! This makes such a difference, doesn't it?
It's also good to hear that progress is happening. I can easily believe that you won't notice it yourself, but somebody outside does.

It was good to sleep. I got a little more last night but today's cold rain is causing so much pain I can hardly move
