Long day was LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG

cornerofmadnessToday went maybe even worse than I feared. The pain of sitting that long was intense. Everyone was happy to see me though and I was happy to see the return of a professor I really like has returned full time thankfully. (we had huge faculty cuts a few years ago)
Everything ran LOOOONG. That includes my panel where we were to talk about 30 minutes 5 each presenter. THe first one ran 25 minutes. I was shocked and unamused. Then they tried to teach us the new learning software (we should have been teaching ourselves) in 2 hours without us being in front of computers to follow along and then lunch was late.
I finally gave up and didn't go back to the last presentation and went up to my office to get off the leg because I had to help put together the student activity for tomorrow.
Frontier was supposed to come fix the phone line tomorrow but they text me to say the problem is part of an ongoing issue so no tomorrow (watch them come anyhow at 8 AM) and no timeline for repair. GAH.
And then my new cane (one of them) came today but I can NOT extend it. I'm going to drag it in tomorrow and hope one of the guys can help me. I'm more than a little annoyed.
And in good news, my school is way up in enrollment. The bad news for me is 500 of them are athletes. There is NO way I can use that gym so I'm going to have to join the Y.
