How's it going? Right now I'm editing my wipbigbang story (Prodigal Son) and trying not to scream because the pharmacy gave me the wrong insulin and I have to back into town (which is about 15 miles away)

Day 4: Finally got a solid idea for an exchange fic! It is not due for a while, but I'd rather work ahead as much as possible. :) I wrote the sketch of its outline, and bit of the actual content, and it'd be nice if I could get some more done this evening but I'm not worried about it if I don't.

Today was mostly devoted to gardening, but...

Aug 4th - 550 words, a challenge ficlet and an extra 50 words to turn a 250 word snippet into a triple drabble.

I didn't write any fic words last night, as hoped, but I did write down idea words for several prompts to get me started.

Day 4: Today I typed in edits and posted a fic. This evening I would like to get a start on one of the ideas I wrote out last night, but I'm already feeling a bit tired so I don't know if that's going to happen. (It's so much easier to read someone else's words, than create some of my own. *g*)

Too tired to focus, I experimented with the 21st century lazy person’s excuse for Mad-Libs, namely predictive text (via my iPad). I added punctuation and may have finessed some of the syntax, but a lot of it is pure happenstance based on other things I’ve written, including Google searches. Anyway, 81 words of “ found” poetry.

Day 4 - 2 sentences on the fic I've been working on in between other projects since December. Just broke 3k on it. Tomorrow and Monday I need to work on my screenplay but today I gave myself a break. Also I went to the beach.

4 Sept - 3000 words - 2500ish on TRSB 1, which is now finished and posted, though it could certainly use a polishing pass, and does need some tweeking of the images. 500ish on TRSB 3, bringing it to almost 4k. It will be finished & posted tonight, but I'm counting the words for the 5th.

Reveals are 8am tomorrow my time.

Woo hoo for finishing and posting (I hear you about the polishing pass. Honestly wish I could do multichaptered fic a chapter a day vs a big chunk)

Sorry to hear about the wrong insulin, how annoying!
I gave up on my two possible treats yesterday - reveals are today, and I strained something in my back two days ago when gardening which kept me from sleeping, and my brain is just fried. But I wrote a lot for my Drawer WIP; 1,6k words - I've got this huge collection of more or less reltated drawer fics, most of them mostly drafts or collections of scenes, and have started a while a go to re-write them and bring those who interlock properly together, mainly to train myself writing beyond single narrative strands/stories, and in a novel mindest, if that makes any sense. The whole thing which I call the Drawer Chronicles has over 578k by now and consists of ten separate "books" with a handful of isolated stories, and I'm trying to get these books into something like a proper novel shape. Currently I'm in the process of getting the storylines together and drafting missing parts. Particularly for the organisational part of this my new gadget is quite helpful right now.

sorry about your back (and the treats) but that's a fantastic count on your Drawer fic. That is a lot of drawer fic. good luck finding ways to use it
