I did get some more writing in last night; once again, the start of another short story.

Day 11: Today I finished writing that story and also typed in 1,700 words of fic. I have one more story written and another to write so I can post them. I'm doing them as a series of vignettes and since they're all pretty short I wanted to post them in one go. I'm very excited about this! I also might just keep on writing so I can get to the sequel to the original fic that I wanted to write! *makes dolphin noises*

Trixie Belden Mysteries. I'm writing Mart/Dan because someone opened my eyes to the pairing. *g*

ah okay. You know, we get a lot of (relatively speaking) of Trixie requests and fills on comment_fic on LJ which stuns me given how old this series is. I loved Trixie in the day but it's been 40 years so I remember...nothing (except the time she nearly killed someone with Waldorf salad...or was that Nancy?)

If it's Brumeier's fic, I'm aware of that. She's the one who turned me on to Mart/Dan, though she mostly writes Trixie/Jupiter.

LOL I don't recall that! (I don't remember much from the books, either, though I've re-read a few for the LJ book bingo challenge.)

Ha, yes she's one but i think there are a couple others. Yeah I never even heard of Jupiter Jones I feel like i missed out

I haven't seen hedgepig since, but they're usually nocturnal so I didn't expect to.

yeah that does make them harder to keep track of so I'm going to content myself thinking he's living his best hedgie life.

I like to think that too. My garden is ideally suited to hedgepigs.

Glad to hear that. Mine is suitable to rats apparently. geez...

Yeah, I had to stop feeding the birds back in late spring because of rats. I'm hoping there'll be less rat trouble once I tear down the old sheds.

Oh dear. I live next to a barn and a RV park with people who don't care hence the rats

I like domesticated pet rats, but not the wild ones. Unfortunately, several people around here have chickens, which attracts rats. Next door's cats did pretty well at hunting young rats though. Mama rat only had one youngster left last I saw. I found several dead ones.

I've had friends who had rats as pets. I've no issues with them. The wild ones a little more so thanks to the diseases they carry (ditto mice and raccoons.They're fine in the woods, less fine in my house)

I have nothing against the wood mice in my garden since they keep away from the house, but I din't trust wild rats. They're clever and like you said, carry diseases. I keep doors and most windows closed so they can't find a way in.

1,6k today for me, half for the Drawer WIP and half for the Ambush Plotbunny Draft. And I thought this would be an alibi sentence day as I was niece herding all day and still have some traces of yesterday's migraine left. Seems if the motivation is strong enough it doesn't matter. ;op (I have this odd migraine these days when most of the time I'm not in actual pain when sitting and not doing strenuous things, but even light menial tasks will trigger nausea and pain flares.)

Sep 11: Editing, editing, editing! Added some interstitial scenes to Ch7 for a total of 600 new words, plus got Ch2 back from beta and incorporated her comments, plus sent Ch3 away to beta. And now I'm bushed!

Day 11 - got some work done, but definitely not enough. My brain rebelled against me all day. But still more work than yesterday and the day before, so that's good.

11 Sept - worked on my Innumerable stars signup. Also did an extemporaneous thing that I have trying to write for the last several days and ended up spoken with a few notes for framework.

Wrote down an idea for a poem.
