My knee is protesting

I'm starting to get swelling around the quadriceps tendon and along the lateral aspect where it balls up like a plum because of the lateral scar tissue. This is new and I'm sure it's from me working. I do have the ability to sit and I do but a) that's boring to me and my students b) I find it more dynamic to move and talk. Sigh. I'm icing it. I'll see the surgeon again in a couple weeks.

In spite of my reservations I said yes going to a play since it's outdoors. My hesitation has more to do with can my knee handle this than I'm going to get covid. I am vaccinated. It's going to be an interactive horror play. I think it'll be fun.


So today the kitty walked me to the car. Got in the car. Scooped him out. Got under the car. Poked him out. Sat in the bushes and bitched he couldn't come with me. WHen I got home he walked me back to the apartment

Sorry that your knee is bother you from working. Is there something you can do to support your knee while you're walking on it?
