cornerofmadnessA very starving dog showed up tonight, way too late to take to the humane society if it would even be open on a holiday (dogs always show up on a holiday) SHe's a really friendly lab. I gave her the only spare food I had (since I'm barely able to feed me). She has a collar with rabies tags but not home number and she didn't get THIS starved in a matter of days. Someone's been mistreating her for weeks.
She's safe enough down here in the hollow (I've been told by the manager people always drop animals off here). I was thinking I'd take her to the humane society tomorrow if she's still here...only we have NONE. There isn't one for over 40 miles. THe closest one is in another state. I don't know where any of them are. There isn't a single one in my county OR the next closet county. I'm going to have to look for animal control or the pound and I HATE doing that
