I had ideas for this but then found a Women Inventors/Women in Star Trek Zoom talk at the last minute of Twitter. It was 2 h ours long and it was entertaining. Only one guy trying to be a troll amazingly. I forgot to mention the Sheldon Cooper at the Steampunk con, mansplaining everything (but honestly I think in many ways he was so neurodivergent or at least socially awkward he had no clue he was annoying AF)

What I am realizing is I need to go back to my 80s vampire slayer novel's characters and think about their motivations. That seems to be missing in this. I found this link 9 Useful Character Questionnaires For Writers But the problem with these things is always there are SO MANY questions and it becomes cumbersome. These character issues are something I'd love to bounce off people (I did put it in the writers group but it seemed...neutral which was disappointing)

I don't have anything to say about the rest. lol, but I have to say that I have always done character charts for my characters. I love doing them. But I also love character questionnaires. I'm especially fond of "interview" type questionnaires because I feel like they really give me an opportunity to explore the character's personality while they talk about themselves. How they answer a question in their voice tells me what's important to them more than ME answering what's important to them. I'm the writer but I'm not always right. I'll definitely be saving this link for future reference. Thank you.

Oh yes they do! lol. Some of them are just RIDUNKULUS! lol "What did your character eat for breakfast the day the story starts? Did he enjoy it? How did that effect him?"
