It finally happened

For years I've thought this will be the last time I'll see my cousin's husband (my parents age cousin) as he's had less than 50% of his heart working for well over a decade. He's been doing much more poorly. He passed last night. I won't be able to go home for the service. It's just one day, tomorrow and that's graduation for me. I hope they have a celebration of life in the summer.

I got all my grading done. I have students panicking. Well sorry after the fact is too damn late. No you can't get any last minute points. The class is OVER. I did get some sweet messages written on some of the exams for me.

I promised lordgloria that I'd post my 80s curly hair/huge classes picture so here we go

I got my ghost story #2 done. It's at least in the word count range (unlike the other). It's a charity anthology so even if I get accepted it won't pay much but I'm more interested in exposure than the pay right now. Besides I had fun with this


Magnum PI has been canceled. More about that maybe tomorrow. I'm getting pretty disturbed by all the cancellations and want to talk about it.

I've been meh on Magnum PI for the last bit... so I'm not disappointed by the cancellation... and the minute that they got Higgins and Magnum romantically involved, I tapped out... I said from the very beginning that romance would be the end of the show... but they probably knew the show was cancelled so they could do the romance... be interesting to see how they wind it up...

I haven't gotten to any of this year, just recorded it and it had nothing to do with the romance nor did they know they were going to be canceled. took them by surprise. It's a fight over money between CBS and the other producer. Meanwhile CBS is bringing us yet another eyerolling NCIS spin off

from the fandom I think the romance was hoped for. I was never an uber fan but I DO think there is a serious falling off of scripted tv in lieu of cheap reality shows
