Why the hell is it 93 in May?

That kind of heat makes me so sick. It rained heavy last night too so I ran down to get the zucchini, peas and watermelon to plant (they looked so sick when I went back out to water today). 93 degrees, 90% humidity and I'm out there digging a row to plant. I did it though AND I walked across the yard without my cane and no pain and I'm damn proud of myself for it!!

I hope my plants don't die.


I STILL haven't cleaned a damn thing. Go me.


I will get out my casual summer clothes though tomorrow. That is my goal.

Today I got another perfect house for my It Came From the Trailer Park story. Have I mentioned horror-comedy is HARD. Why am I doing this to myself?

Lucky Uncle is having a 50th anniversary party. I thought it was in July but no they just told me it's the first week in August...when I planned to already be back here and going to the bigfoot festival. sigh.

It's 91 here right now and it's not even noon!

I don't deal well with the heat, either. I get irritated really easily and it can give me headaches.

Yes, get out your casual summer clothes! (I'm so happy to have summer clothes that fit now!)
