Good news at last
Sep. 15th, 2022 09:55 pmThat said next time I need an orthopedic surgeon I think I want a different doc. This guy is way too conservative for me. We did get X-rays and honestly there isn't any more arthritis than there was before I destroyed the knee. There is more hardware in my knee than I knew about (I need to find out if it's MRI safe). Most of it is to anchor the tendons I'm sure.
The good news is everything is aligned and healed and I'm impresses AF with my surgeon. This guy however is SO conservative. Go take some chondrotin glucosamine (btw that's now 40-60$ a bottle) and you can't have the cock's comb injections until you have (and fail) on steroid injections (thanks for nothing insurance). But he's not wrong that steroids can ruin the remaining cartilage but if I need that before I can get to the cock's comb then let's DO that. I'm sorry but I've done glucosamine before. It did squat and frankly the research doesn't support it. I will try it and go seek help elsewhere later. MAYBE because the glucosamine interfers with warafin so I need to find out if it does with plavix too.
I went to the company picnic and ran into the IT guy. He said my laptop is alive enough to get my stuff off it. Thank you!
I won two door prizes (we had more prizes more than guests) neither of which I really wanted. One was a big fanny pack with beer coolers, ball hat, frisbee and some hand sanitizer all with State Farm on it and the other is 25$ gift card to a gym in Gallipolis. Um well then. I'll check it out because it's too far to become MY gym.
