I was so hoping to do this topic...and of course it hits when my computer died and I have to do this at my office hours. Not real happy with them. Grrr. haven't even had time to read anyone's!

Spike/Dru – Any Time up to S3 – The Long Sleep

“The world is dying,” Drusilla moaned, collapsing on the bed, drawing several dolls to her.

“What makes you think that, pet?” Spike kissed her shoulder.

“It’s all cold and dark.”

“It’s fall, Drusilla. It’s supposed to be that way. More dark for us,” Spike grinned, trying to cheer his lover up. He’d never understand her moods.

“Still sad. Makes you sleepy,” Drusilla replied, stroking Miss Edith’s hair.

Spike put his arms around her. “Think of what we can do in the long winter nights, luv. All those hours of dark mayhem.”

“My Spike always knows how to cheer me up.”

Angel & Giles – S2 - Missing Colors

“Deep thoughts?” Angel asked, noticing Giles staring hard out the library window into the dying light. The vampire was hidden in the shadows as he helped with the research.

Giles glanced over his shoulder. “Just thinking of home. Fall here isn’t anything special, just a little less hot. I miss the color changes, the autumn flowers and the crisp bite of the night air. Silly, isn’t it?”

Angel shook his head. “No, I miss it, too. The colors in the sun…it’s one of the things I miss the most. It’s been so long.”

“I don’t even want to imagine”

Connor – Post NFA Autumnal Revenge

Connor looked at the leaves, lost in their brilliant colors. He had never seen anything like it in Quor-Toth. L.A. barely had trees, not where he had lived. Palo Alto had been different, prettier but that was another life time ago. L.A. was gone. Connor could only enjoy the beauty of a New England autumn for a few brief moments. He had a mission to accomplish.

Angel was dead. Fall found him tracking down those who had betrayed his father. NYC and Harmony Kendall, it made perfect sense someone like her would go there. He wanted her dusted before Halloween.
