I write better at coffee houses, too! It's the atmosphere, I think.
Yay for new microwave. Ours is small, too. I don't think they make them as big as they used to, which was HUGE. I don't use all the bells and whistles, either. Like you, defrost and heating up drinks or leftovers are the main uses. *g*
