So to make Mom happy I called Costco concierge even though I know they're going to say Microsoft Office not working is a software problem and not THEIR problem. They did but she was helpful and gave me Microsoft's contact number.

That was not helpful because they don't talk tech support on the phone. They gave me a url to try. Which DID NOT work. I googled microsoft text, found the chat they wanted me to use. They weren't sure what it might be but when they started to help they asked what email did I use and boom the light went off in my head. It was using my personal email that I registered my personal laptop with BUT the software is from work so I needed to switch to my work email.

It gave me error messages BUT Word and PowerPoint are working without issue so I think that solved things. I decided I'll be back at work in 2 weeks and they can help with me with the registry to get things to save to the laptop.

Today was another pissed away day BUT I did start my Anna Karina is dead story. I want to finish it tomorrow. I want to keep it short (I think it's a low word count and it is definitely low pay)
