I got a new printer. My last HP was going on 9 years old and was getting sad and problematic. Got a new HP the 5150. I have a feeling it'll be going back since the inkjet latches like to fly open. It took a lot of fiddling and cussing to make it work. But it DID print out my 51 page thesis beautifully.

New to the house, several more fans (it's been 96 degrees here. I'm dying. I'm writing a historical Angelus/Darla fic and I'm thinking poor Darla, all that whale boning, corsetting, under skirts, petticoats, and velvet over dresses, panniers or hoops spanning several feet (not to mention the towering up-do), any mayhem she did was probably as a reaction to wearing that crap in heat like this).

evil_little_dog got two new dvds for the house Tombstone (ah, lovely men) and Jackie Chan doing City Hunter. I'm thinking Ryu ALWAYS has an erection (long time City Hunter fan here) how are they translating this to film...I'm thinking I'll be both disappointed yet highly amused by this.

And last but certainly NOT least, the first chapter of my first Post- Fade Away story is posted Built on Lies (the first in the I Fuochi d'artifico (Fireworks) series) . Please feel free to comment. This is a WIP so input is desired.
