after a terrible storm, the next day is beautiful? I got lucky and only had flickering power and internet all night. Much of the area lost a lot of power lines. At least the flooding wasn't as bad as it could have ben.
It also didn't keep anyone away from the coffee shop. I ended up sharing a table with another teacher from a k-12 school a few towns away. We met last month. She's another author. she just happened to be there and let me sit with her. I didn't get as much writing done as I'd want but I got a little ways into my new It Came From the Trailer Park story that you all helped with (now to find a beta reader for this).
I did also manage to get two chapters of my 80s era monster hunter thing edited (this is another that would benefit from someone reading it start to finish because I wrote this bad boy out of order and I'm pretty sure I'm fucking up putting those chapters into the main document. sigh).
ETA - Holy crap, NOTHING from Fandom trumps hate showed in my feed (nor did they answer my question about my offering) but the charity auction ends shortly so if you wanted a chance to have me write a story for you (Prodigal Son or The Owl House) now is the time to bid right here.
And it occurs to me I haven't done the book round up so let me get to that (because honestly it was another less than interesting day, productive yes but not that engaging) You know the drill, I love talking books so if any of these interest you...
