It's Paranormal Day
May. 3rd, 2023 09:58 pmI didn't know it was that until tonight but I'm using it to climb out of the bad mental hole I fell into this afternoon. I don't (and can't) talk about it too much because it's work related.
So instead have two places I've investigated in or around (that said WHERE are my investigation pictures of the Anchorage. Man I hope they're still on my camera)
The Adelphia Music Hall (I need to find out the concert schedule maybe go hear something) I haven't been inside yet.
The Anchorage. The ghosts here were talky. I liked it.
Rocket finally slept in the box last night outside for the first time in a while, came in covered in cedar shavings and didn't take them out (wouldn't let me do it) I think something tagged him as he was limping. He wouldn't let me look. sigh. He seemed better in the evening.
What I Just Finished Reading:
Isola, Vol. 1 by Brenden Fletcher, beautiful art, jumbled, nonsensical story so far. HOW is this so well kudoed professionally?
What I am Currently Reading:
There Comes a Darkness by Katy Rose Pool but ever so slowly. I'm never finishing this thing so long SOOOO long
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell ALMOST finished for like 4 days now
What I Plan to Read Next: The Joy Machine some star trek thing, and probably some of my new books from the festival
APRIL'S READS - You know the drive, love talking books so if you have one you find interesting, let's talk
Critical Role: Vox Machina Origins Volume II fantasty GN
Nettle & Bone fantasy (loved this)
Incognegro Historical GN (this is a rough one because of the subject matter of lynchings in the earlier 20th century south)
Anthony Bourdain's Hungry Ghosts Horror GN (Who knew he had comic books?!?)
The Night Witches historical GN
Check, Please! Book 1: #Hockey Sports GN
Liar City Urban fantasy
Angel Vol. 1: Being Human urban fantasy GN, honestly almost all the Boom! Buffyverse things are disappointing.
