Some pictures

My 'yellow' peppers. I got a yellow cultivar at the heirloom sale. However someone must have had the tag in the wrong seedlings. Thanks for the green, weird shaped peppers.
Mama and her twins
The necklace in question
So fannish things, let me talk about two of the shows I binged last week
Wednesday: I did really enjoy it. While I agree with Oretga that Wednesday didn't need to be in a love triangle I wasn't sure she needed to take a hard core stance against it for S2 (seeing as Tyler shouldn't be part of the equation). And I'm not entirely sure it qualified as a love triangle since Wednesday didn't seem invested in him or Xavier for that matter.
So let me ask you this, do you call it a love triangle if it's one sided (I'm coming across that term a lot lately but it's been a one sided thing)
I can see some of the complaints about the race issues with Wednesday. All the CoC are morally gray and while I had never thought much about Black women being depicted as seductresses but with that in mind I can see why some were uneasy with Miranda. My issue with her was more how does she go from a stone cold bitch to being at least frenemies with Wednesday. They had one talk and suddenly they're cool? Felt unearned.
And speaking of unearned, I keep going back to Xavier's rant at Wednesday and he wasn't wrong. She offered up no inroads to friendship. She's outrightly rude to most of them. I wish there had been a little less hostility on her part.
Lockwood & Co - I did enjoy this with a few caveats. The show Lucy was a lot more...nervous than the book version in so far as I remember back 5 years to when I read book one. I'm not sure why they changed George's surname (not that it matters much). Lockwood seemed a tad more dickish than the book. I think they tried to compress about three books into one. That said, it was different. It was enjoyable and I'm sorry it didn't get a second season.
So what shows are you looking forward to this fall? I'm not sure I have much of anything I'm excited about. Right now Dark Winds is starting and so far it's not bad.

Lovely necklace.
I have only read the first two books in the Lockwood series, but I also enjoyed the tv show and am super bummed that it will not continue. I don't really trust Netflix anymore when it comes to show renewal.

Also yeah I hear you on Netflix. It's getting as bad as CW and Fox when it comes to canceling. I just realized I never reviewed book 4 for Lockwood and I need to get the last book
