Am I dead?

cornerofmadnessI feel dead. I might be an actual zombie typing this. It's so hot. the a/c is weird at work. WORK is weird.
I hope attitudes pick up later in the week or maybe everyone has resting bitch face. My major's A&P is the largest it's been in a decade. too bad they all look like they'd rather hang from fish hooks by their nipples than be there. Why do I get the impression this is going to be a long year?
the books snafu is worse than I thought.
But the real issue is as suspected I had to park all the way across campus. I had to carry stuff so I couldn't use my cane for this trip. Another handicapped faculty member was in the same position. They have set up a situation where one of us is going to get hurt. I am not pleased.
Here's hoping lab goes better tomorrow.
Most of the scratches Rocket slashed into me are healed but the one in the wrist looks closed but it is red and painful. I don't think it's infected but I'm keeping an eye on it.
My parents asked about the new Chem prof, how did her day go. Good and she liked my necklace that I got at the steampunk con. Which led to a 10 minute conversation about what steampunk is. I said I think she thinks I'm weird.
In concert my parents say, 'you ARE' thanks mom and dad.
Ah it's music monday. How about we share a song we feel represents us or at least an aspect of us. Here's two for me

My all-purpose treatment for minor infections is hot water -- put your wrist under the tap, wait for the water to heat up just a little more than you can tolerate. Take your wrist out of the stream, then put it back for a moment. Repeat two or three times / day.
The heat kills the bacteria, which is what the redness is trying to do except that it usually isn't hot enough.
