National Read a Book Day

As for my broken tooth, I called my original dentist. I switched recently to someone else because two times I broke a tooth they made me wait 6 weeks. Last time it was 8 weeks and I said oh fuck this. But I was mad at the new one too for breaking a tooth tip in the last crown placement and instead of fixing it he fixed the other tooth (which yes also needed a crown) so I haven't gotten anyone else (as there isn't much choice close by) and Dentist 2 is mostly in Chillicothe 40 miles away.
SO I called my original dentist as I said and she snottily told me we're not doing ANY emergency appointments. You'll have to get a normal one. Blow me. (it's like 6 months out) I called Dentist 2 and he'll see me next week. Fine. But I think I need to find a new dentist period closer than 40 miles away once all this is over.
Got another rejection (the same story that was rejected two days ago. At least it was quick, poor little solar punk)
What I Just Finished Reading:
Bittersweet in the Hollow - enjoyed this one but I want to slap the protagonist
The Enchanted Hacienda also enjoyed his one but I want to slap the protagonist
Daemons of the Shadow Realm (manga) Arakawa's new one. It was interesting but didn't blow me away
Kemono Jihen - ditto
What I am Currently Reading:
The Autumnal (graphic novel)
Our Hideous Progeny (just started today a queer sequel to Frankenstein)
Fullmetal Alchemist #1 (I have a challenge to read something I wish I could read for the first time again and I realize I enjoy rereading manga and it's been awhile...SO long I forgot where it started. Also damn, FMA debuted 22 years ago. God I'm old)
