Went to the Doctor's

and found out that 40mg Prilosec isn't covered by my insurance because it's now OTC and the RX version is 3 times the price. Switched to Nexium again. Need more blood work (big shock). It's looking like I'll have to have that stomach surgery because I'm maxing out on the stomach meds I can take. Pout.

I was also a little afraid this week. Monday I had to go to advisee training for student advising next week. I thought I was suddenly going to get assigned students but I'm not. Wipes sweat from brow. I just have to observe and get trained (something for the resume!)

As for my students....sob.

There's an episode later in the series (about 25, I think) where Ed says he and Al are going to (fill in the blank), which is Automail Heaven, by Win's reaction. She starts screaming, "Take me with you!" and goes through hysterics for what seems like a long time. It's kinda cute (for an annoying thing) but what's cuter are the reactions of Maes and Armstrong, watching Winry.

And I wasn't sure I liked Winry at first but she grew on me. I still don't like the voice actor, though. Her voice doesn't seem right; too old or something.

Oh! And you saw Roy, too, didn't you? He was the alchemist that Granny Pinako told to leave her house after Ed and Al tried the transmutation.

Yes, someone was saying that the Gatch team lived a samurai life and therefore, writing slash for them was perfectably acceptable.

I quietly wondered to myself about a group known as a ninja team could be considered samurai but decided it wasn't worth getting into a fight about.
