It has been SUCH a long day

So I'll do the fandom stuff on thursday when I am not dead tired (I also have to get up at the ass crack o'dawn for a dental cleaning.)

We had the provost in our labs today to see their shoddy conditions after some loudmouth popped off and said please come look at what we work in while you're tossing down 70K on yet another new lab elsewhere Me, the loudmouth is me I don't know that anything will come of this but I tried. I tried hard.

From there I went to tai chi and things I did fine last week I struggled with today with a lot of nerve pain (I was in pain all day) and I'm so glad my appt is friday.

From there I was in Welsh class and was tasked to help others since apparently while I'm shit at speaking I can read pretty well, at least simple stuff so I was helping others translate. that was fun.


I'm very saddened about Baltimore and the bridge accident. I do not fully understand what happened (because god online news articles are such shit)

I'm not sure anyone knows what happened with the bridge. They were still investigating it the last I heard. It's going to take a while for them to figure everything out and also clean up the harbor.

I'm just thankful it happened very early in the morning and not at say rush hour.

Apparently they also had time to blow a MayDay so the only ones still on the bridge were some construction workers. Unfortunately, all 6 were lost.
