How about a couple writing prompts today A character loses control of their supernatural powers.

An evil King and Queen abuse their power. (Ironically I just sold a short story with this theme)

Today was a test day and I always write well while the students are taking those, got 2500 words on a story I'll post on friday (Hazbin Hotel)

Trying to write between another bout of light migraine (which I fear now has firmly reestablished itself in my life - at least I had several years without) and running myself ragged to prep for our short holiday next week, and still managed 1204 words on day 10 - go me. ;oP (Will I ever learn to keep my stuff sufficiently in order to not have to do this every time we leave for a break? Probably not. /o\
Go YOU for that terrific word count - but of course this is a great occasion for a teacher to write. I wonder what our teachers did during our tests... we had a French teacher, great teacher but super quirky, who once took out her mechanical typewriter during a test - it was one of the intensive/high level? courses we have in our last two years before the Abitur, so was very demanding and took 3-4 hours. Of course we protested vehemently as the sound was super distracting, but looking back I can only grin widely at her doing that, as it was so totally her. ^^

ha, I'm not alone in writing in class though I think I would not be able to do a clanking mechanical typewriter (I hated using the keyboards on the desk top because they clacked too much)

Day 10: Read through and did a little editing on a very old WIP.

Day 11: Posted that old WIP as an unfinished work--it felt good to let go of it! Also returned to my exchange work and did a little editing on that, and added 100 words to it.

Oh, I'm grading reading tests right now, and I feel your pain absolutely, re: not wanting to grade them because no matter what you do to try to help them learn, they just don't seem to be able to.

On Day 11, I added 657 words to the newest chapter (Chapter 15 now).

I can tell even with myself how scrolling etc has affected my ADHD. I can only imagine what it is doing to developing brains
