Almost where I want to be.

cornerofmadnessI'm almost a quarter of the way there. Well by tomorrow unless somethng goes drastically wrong I will be.
For those who are interested here's a little run down of the main characters of the novel
Tazia Dragonetti - "Taz" is 16 and originally from chicago but she moved to Madison WI when she was about six or seven. She's 5'9", curly walnut hair, hazel eyes, a band geek, a science geek, not particularly in with the cool crowd. She's highly intelligent and inquisitive, taking a lot of AP classes. She's very much her father's daughter. Out spoken, believes a woman can do anything but after studying feminist literature finds nothing in common with them. She's not interested in blaming white males for everything. Loves music, plays jazz sax. Goes out of her way to talk to the 'weird' people at school. see's no reason she can't be the alpha of her pack some day. Her real estate agent mom's home redecorating fetish drives Taz nuts since she's not very girly. Pretending hard that she's not falling for Killian
Ben Wannemaker - Ben is also 16, born in Wisconsin, mostly of Hochungra Indian stock with a little Nordic mixed in from the Grimstad line. Ben's a big boy, all 6'3" of him. He's ebullient and funny. He's not very athletic but he's bright. He's a total geek, into comic books and Star Trek and the like. He's active on the pow wow circle as a fancy dancer. Ben has a fetish for all things 80's and is always at Ragstock on the look out for retro clothing in his size. His prize possession from there are his parachute pants. Has no ambitions to be the alpha of the pack> Ben is content to follow. Ben's dad owns a chain called Suds and Suds, laundromat/bar combos.
Ligeia and Lenore Johnson - identical twins, cheerleaders but they like hanging out with Ben and Taz, prizing brains over popularity. Of mixed African and Caucasian descent. These two need fleshing out more. They found the murder victim and I know Lenore likes Jazz and Ben and Ligeia wants to follow in her mom's footsteps. Mom's a Poe scholar at U of WI. They have no idea their two best friends are werewolves
Killian Kavanagh - 16 year old transfer student from Galway City. He's about 5'7" and probably weighs 110 pounds with a rock in his pocket, blue eyes, black hair, definitely Black Irish. He's the prime suspect since he fought with the murder victim earlier in the day, and he's new and he's sort of a loner. Has Celtic knot work tattooed around one arm and has cutting scars on his wrists. Killian thinks he's fairly talentless, except that he can write. Killian has synesthesia, a condition that mixes up senses (he hears objects and tastes colors) and it's heightened his psychic senses, he sees the future. Killian never knew his father and his mother was the lover to Sean O'Connor who was supposed to adopt the boy when she died of cancer. Instead, he keeps Killian only to use his visions and has abused Killian physically, mentall and sexually until the boy became too old to interest him. His wife started abusing Killian at that time. He's far too terrified to turn on them or run away. He fears the killings are his fault only he doesn't know how. Living with lots of wealth is the only compensation for his lonely and ugly young life.
