I don't know
May. 16th, 2024 01:01 pmIf it's psychosomatic or if I did something but ever since the MRI my knee has been painful to the touch and I have issues moving it in certain directions. I'm going to the doc tomorrow. My hope is they can do a stop-gap so I can get some relief and put off the total knee a few years. All I know is I won't do it this year. I have WAY too much traveling for my research to do to slot in recovery from have my joint removed.
Still no internet/phone. So happy. Gah.
But I did do a thing (I've been doing a lot of fanficcing instead of you know writing things I get paid for) but here we are, I wanted to share a few of them. You can head over to
lyricaltitles and see three stories I've finished (out of 11), two are Buffy the Vampire Slayer fandom and one is Star Trek Deep Space Nine.
I am, however, most proud of the series I wrote for
getyourwordsout's Yahtzee challenge. (Kudos wise, it's not that popular...yet. Maybe it'll pick up) You can find the series here on AO3. It's Hazbin Hotel fandom and follows Angel Dust from when he was alive (a lot of my family's personal history are in the first two stories) to present day. Since Angel Dust is in a highly abusive sexual relationship (if you can call it that) there are themes of domestic violence, sexual abuse and rape.
I did get my statement. I sold a couple dozen books of These Haunted Hills but man the asking price for the ebook is barely above the novella cost. I'm not sure I get that but I have no control over it. At least it's selling a little. It certainly could be doing better. Sigh.
