May or may not have hit about 10 miles from here. There's argument over whether or not it touched down but the winds and rains were impressive.

Turns out I have until the end of July for the Mafia Horror story but I want to get it in a.s.a.p. My usual beta is indisposed. Anyone up for a story swap beta?



What I Just Finished Reading:


The X-Files: Perihelion by Claudia Gray It wasn't bad. I just wish it hadn't been all wrapped up in C.S.M and William


A Tail of a Tip Off - A Mrs. Murphy mystery. I remember liking this series in the 90s. it's just not good.

The Blood Eagle - a good (but graphic) police thriller by A.l. Hatcher, a self pubbing forensic scientist I met in Athens. I enjoyed this but wish it had a tad more mystery

Snowflake in Summer - Joshua E.B. Smith This guy is at all the local bookfests. He's very enthusiastic about his books.

Q-Squared - some Next Gen pro fanfic that's also an AU....


Castle of the Cursed by Romina Garber - I have an arc of this YA horror




What I Plan to Read Next: Whatever I brought along for Popsugar challenge and a boatload of manga (that I have yet to look at)
