Writerly Ways
Jul. 7th, 2024 08:58 pmYou know I had an idea for this yesterday. Today, on the drive back to OH, I lost it and half my sanity. Usually driving is where I do a lot of story plotting which is peaceful and happy for me. Today most of the drive was me in stark fear over politics that I can't excise from my brain and stands a good chance of breaking it. So rather than continuing on this let me say the positive stuff (wishing I could remember my original topic. I knew I wanted your input).
Positive - I made it home alive. Rocket is fine. My post person managed to get ALL my packages in my mail box so nothing was left in view. This included one book, two different packages of stick pins and a t-shirt.
Negative - thanks to Soul many years ago and Rocket more recently peeing on the living room floor my place reeks of cat piss
Weird - the new apartment complex going up in Wellston turns out to be senior housing. Mom said usually that's 55+ move in when they're done. Honestly the thought occurred to me. On the other hand I don't feel ready for retirement living. Of course it might be assisted living (but doesn't look like it)

I've been thinking about an adult apartment if I'm ever alone again. I could do with having someone come in to clean my place every couple of weeks, lol! And it's not like you'd need to use all the available services until you need them. OTOH, they often have a gym or something, too. o_O
