Glad I changed my mind

cornerofmadnessI was supposed to drive home today but I didn't clean up enough yesterday. I wanted to find why there were SO. Many. Ants in the kitchen and didn't want to come home to a mess again. Even though I slept last night it was like I hadn't slept at all. (Definitely need that sleep apnea test so I'm glad I didn't drive home). Maybe tomorrow if the storms don't come.
So let's do a Fannish 50 to keep my mind off the fact my mind is coming undone. I had a plan to talk about Helluva Boss since I finished S1. Ah well, maybe later. Instead let me say in a week I've written nearly 20K of Hazbin Hotel fanfic and almost ALL of it about Angel Dust and more than half of it about Arackniss, One makes sense. wipbigbang which is now stupid long but on the other hand the non-Arackniss fandomgiftbasket story went to 10K in four days (Angel Dust is a talker)
Today Arackniss spewed out over 3K today for the friday story. (that three people will read because half of it is when Angel and Arackniss were human and there's nothing shippy in it)
What makes all of this so funny to me is Arackniss doesn't currently exist in Hazbin. Oh he exists in the past but he was left out of S1. What little we know is here on Fandom Wiki And much of that is likely outdated.
In fact the only S1 information on Arackniss is his 3 second appearance that you can see (spoilers for the finale)
Which honestly I MISSED until this YT showed up in my feed. And I had NO idea who Baxter was (apparently a mad scientist and I wonder if Vivzie knows all Angler fish are female. The males get absorbed into their bodies and exist basically as nothing but a pair of balls)
However that has NOT kept Arackniss from being popular. Like seriously popular. What little that might be canon has me interested too. Mobbed up brothers who have a rough relationship. I'm there.
If you're hanging around YT there are two people who jump to mind as Arackniss fans
Reed Donat, a VA/writer who uses clips of old art and screen caps to animate his scenes. He can do Angel Dust and Alastor's voices decently so we see them a lot in this along with Baxter and Arackniss. A lot of it is very funny. You can click on his name and check out his Arackniss stuff NSFW (well this one IS Angel because it amused me)
Now if I were to want to talk to an Arackniss fan creator it would be Axelgear He has SO much Arackniss content that it's hard to figure out where to start because some of it is interrelated but how is a bit mysterious. It was all started before the animation hit Prime so there is serious canon divergence (also fandom is very invested in Arackniss being with Sir Pentious) Certainly it's worth looking at his stuff if Arackniss interests you
Arackniss is so fan favored he has people creating songs for him. This one is my favorite. It's worth the listen (explicit lyrics)
Someone did an Arackniss version of the fan made Angel song Addict (which Vivzie liked so much it was professionally animate) which makes no sense lyrically and I'm including it only because it was done to showcase Arackniss art. At 1:00 minute in there was a piece of art that naturally had zero attribution as to who it belonged to
So I went on a search and because different browser do searches different it took me three to find it but I did. here on this tumblr because I didn't want to repost their art without asking. If Pson and The Owl House made me want to finally break down and get a tumblr, this might be the one to do it. This art is done SO well, so realistic and so frakking CREEPY that I want to use it as story inspiration and I can't ask for permission on Tumblr (and am not sure I can find this person elsewhere. Sigh) Warning if you click on the link, the art is both amazing AND nightmare fuel.
So I don't know how I ended up writing tens of thousands of words including this little spider boy to go with his tall lanky kid brother spider but I am. I hope you'll check out him and later my stuff too.
