July's Reads
Jul. 31st, 2024 08:17 pmI finished another
fandomgiftbasket so that makes four projects. I think I'll stop there until the spreadsheet comes out with the empty baskets.
Other than that, let me also say preplan your burial as much as you can. (also if you think the medical profession over charges, holy hell it costs too much to die..)
And on a lighter note, here are all my reads in July. As always if you see something you want to talk about, let's do it.
Snowflakes in Summer fantasy
Q-Squared Star Trek
Cinderwich Southern Gothic novella (brand spanking new)
Castle of the Cursed YA horror (came out yesterday. I had an arc)
A Rival Most Vial: Potioneering for Love and Profit LBGT romantasy
Unstable mystery
Wintertide. fantasy
Silver Lady historical romantasy
What I Just Finished Reading:
Silver Lady - it wasn't that bad but I am still not fond of several romance tropes
What I am Currently Reading:
The Seeker - a black powder fantasy arc from Netgalley
The Van Meter Visitor - non fiction about a mothman like monster in Iowa in 1903, it's well written and it's given me an idea for a story (the creature theoretically let out a chemical that muddled the senses)
Bloodmarked by Tracy Deon, I just realized I was in the hospital 3 years when I read book one. Thank god there was a good synopsis in ch 1 or I would have been lost (and at 500 pages I wasn't rereading book one)
What I Plan to Read Next: Whatever I brought along for Popsugar challenge and a boatload of manga (that I have yet to look at)
