Ooo cooler nights
Oct. 9th, 2024 10:55 pmMight start sleeping again. Today I was ready to blow up the front loader in the landromat. Nothing in the middle was wet and nothing on the outside spun out so basically I have unclean laundry. Whee.
I saw my CT scan and other than one vessel that's deadweight (which I already knew about it, it was part of the original damage) my blood flow is fine. Yay but then...the symptoms are probably in my back and that is sucky.
Dyed my hair majestic violet. Indoors it looks...walnut. that's okay though.
Got the EZ pass sorted. It was what I thought. the system didn't make my new card THE card and kept the old, stolen one. eye roll. Also passed out when I was told I had 4 bucks left on the card because it cost 45 dollars round trip to Gettysburg. Is that turnpike paved in gold?!?
Hey have I mentioned it's Italian American Heritage month. Have a mini celebration
Since I had Volare last week have another Dino song
And some pasta grannies from where my family is from. My great grandma's name was Concetta too.
What I Just Finished Reading:
You Have Gone Too Far by Carlene O'Connor - a good Irish police procedural
Stitches by Hirokatsu Kihara and Junji Ito horror 'true stories' by Kihara and illustrated by famous horror mangaka Junji Ito. It was good but definitely library rental fare.
What I am Currently Reading:
Twisted Shadows by Allie Therin another arc, the sequel to Liar City which I loved, this is good so far BUT there is way too much spent on the interpersonal stuff and less on the plot. I hope the balance rights itself.
Murder at the Old Abbey by Pippa McCathie, a police procedural set in Wales
What I Plan to Read Next: something off my ginormous physical tbr pile
