Reading some of the nano forums leaves me wondering if the novels some of these guys are writing are as atrocious for spelling and grammar as their posts. Brrr

Dear Mother Nature. I am not amused by it being 30 at night and 70 in the day. Knock it off.

I just got the most interest deluge of reviews at FFN for Tearing Away the veil, some of the more interesting and thought provoking ones yet. Including someone from Malta. i can't believe TWO people from one little island have found me (I'm assuming Chelle hasn't taken to calling herself Honeybubble or I'm hoping not)

Spent 3 hours yelling at Dell. God I wish I had the money to have bought from their competitors. Even though the software may have been defective from the get go, Dell refuses to do anything about it. they seriously suck. The one tech said about the fact that my HP deskjet shows up as new hard ware every time I sign on and that it's missing files and might not work (it does) for me to unplug the USB port then log in. Okay...I do it and he asks, does it give you taht same error message. No you moron, how could it? It's no longer ATTACHED!

In that time I almost got my series story done. whee, go me.

Someone from Malta reads TD, too.

I was there in the Fall of 2002 during my trip in the Med. Cool ancient ruins there.

Cool. Chelle86 on my flist lives there. I would love love love to see the ancient ruins there. I'm beginning to think Mom and I will have to kill Dad to get there. He just refuses to go to Europe but he'd never let her go without him

Putz. My dad dislikes travel with a passion, but he's content to stay at home while my mom travels all over the place. She takes me instead. Hee! Although she did manage to drag him on a fall foliage cruise up the east coast of Canada, and to my brother's wedding.

My dad likes to travel but only if HE gets to decide where they're going. He's just as controlling of the tv (that's why i called him Red foreman)

absolutely. If he had the GPS tracking thing when we were teens like they do now my brother and I would have been in trouble

Yep, oldest ruins in Europe I believe.

I've lost count of the number of times they've been vandalized. It's a disgrace.

I'd go nuts if you came here for a holiday! It would be so great!!! O.O I could be your pet tour guide!!! Of course, this would guarantee us getting lost several times :D

I would love that. I know mom really wants to go to Italy some day soon. Maybe a side trip to Malta. I'm all about ruins.

I've always wanted to go to Italy too. *sigh*

and yes, you would HAVE to take a side trip to Malta! Otherwise I will be forced to go to Italy and drag you here :P And you'd have to stay for a few days too :) I can make a list of the best places (will have to dig out my highschool history books) and a day at Gozo, you'd love it there :D

is Gozo a ruin?

I'd love to tour all of Italy and Greece with side trips to the islands.

I'd love to win the lottery to afford this too

Lol, no, Gozo is the tiny island next to Malta. It's a much cleaner quieter place, more rural and there are some great places to visit. There's the 'Ggantija' temples and also Pompskizilios, which is an old toy musuem. It got it's name from the word that Edward Lear (the author of The Owl and the Pussycat)invented to describe Gozo when he visted it. You cross over on the ferry, a few years ago you'd be able to see dolphins in the sea while crossing(they don't show up very often anymore though).

*g* I hear you on winning the lottery.

Malta's made it into history books apparently, that's the best way to increase my awareness of something.

Oh and I did up some fanged four drabbles. Don't read them. They'll rot your young brain

I haven't really checked into any of the forums yet - I'm doing good to actually write. Are any of them worthwhile?

My spelling and grammar are a lot worse in my posts versus my writing. Different mindset, bigger hurry, usually. I'm sure though that a lot of people writing the 50,000 words don't have a clue about either.

At least you get some feedback at FFN. I'm lucky to get one or two reviews per chapter and at least one of those is always from a friend. According to the stats though, I'm pretty sure my highest readership comes from there, so I'm not complaining. Much.

I've given up on customer service. Its a myth really. You're never talking to a real person, just computers designed to give certain answers to a certain range of questions. I'm very positive about this.

Are the forums worth while? Nope. Not really. sometimes you get good questions and a little help but mostly it's just whining. And yes while I too make typos in my emails and posts there were over 61 errors in one paragraph many of them homophones used incorrectly in one of the posts. That one I had to point my friends to a laugh.

I do get some feedback at FFN. It's forever fandom that I get very little (which is sad since it's system is SO much easier to use than FFN and allows NC-17). I never check my stats there so I wouldn't know.

And I think you're right about customer service

And you can't seriously think I'd call myself Honeybubble O.o

can I have the fanfiction link to your fic please? I'm sure you already posted it or something but I must have missed it -_- I've been reading it chapter chapter on one of the mailing lists but I really want to read all the rest of it!
