That really boosted the word count, so close and yet so far. My tummy doesn't feel well enough to sit up and get that final 700 words to put me over 40,000. Sob. (and no I'm not getting sick for the holidays. I refuse). Now that I've murdered a few people and ripped the scabs off some teenaged psyches the words won't stop coming yay!!

And I uploaded that software chelle and Mzzgoddess suggested but it still doesn't play the video. I'm wondering if not having hte avi files at work screwed up the download. I guess I'll have to try it on the pokey dial up. Sob again.


Driving back home tomorrow for the holiday. It's supposed to snow. Of course. Maybe no one will show up for my late afternoon class and we all can go home early.

I've played avi files in Windows Media Player and VLC. I cna't understand why it didn't work with vlc, cos that's played stuff i haven't been able to get to work in the other programs.

It brings up media player runs the music but NOT the video. I'm thinking maybe it downloaded wrong. My work computer doesn't have the right software so maybe it didn't download everything

check and see if it has a help file, or if an error message comes up, google the message. i had some problems with windows media player and when googling the error messge, find it needed some codec. and not understaning codecs at all, i just left it. heh. (this comment just made it into my email box today)

i got it working but not with Media player. it downloaded as its own separate program and has to run it through it. very annoying
